The Meridian

The Meridian occupies a 300-year-old spice warehouse on the Kochi waterfront. Our work was less about adding and more about revealing: stripping paint from laterite walls, restoring the teak roof trusses, and letting the building's age lead the palette.

Guest rooms are calm, almost monastic — dark stained timber, hand-poured terrazzo, linen sheers — so that the drama stays with the architecture and the harbour views.

The ground floor returns to the city as a all-day café and gallery, keeping the building public the way a warehouse always was.
